Privacy Policy

Unicycle Labs Inc. (“Unicycle Labs”) operates ("Geosheets"). It is Unicycle Labs’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Unicycle Labs collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Unicycle Labs’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Geosheets’s visitors use its website. Unicycle Labs also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users. Unicycle Labs only discloses logged in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Geosheets choose to interact with Unicycle Labs in ways that require Unicycle Labs to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Unicycle Labs gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, users who engage in transactions with Unicycle Labs – by purchasing a subscription to Geosheets – are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In another example, Unicycle Labs may collect information as to which specific user actions were taken by individual accounts in order to help identify issues with functionality or reliability of the Service and answer support inquiries. In each case, Unicycle Labs collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Unicycle Labs. Unicycle Labs does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Use of Google Account Data

When you use the Geosheets Add-on for Google Sheets, you must log in with your Google Account. Using Google's login service, Geosheets will store basic information from your Google account, including your name, profile image, and email address. We may use your name and email to contact you from time to time about information relating to Geosheets and changes to the product. Your profile image is used as an avatar when you are logged in, in the menu that allows you to access your Geosheets account details.

When you first authorize the Geosheets Add-on for Google Sheets, you are also prompted to grant Geosheets access to your Google spreadsheets and Google Drive documents. This access is used solely to verify ownership of the spreadsheets you use with Geosheets, to ensure that another user cannot make requests to Geosheets that impersonate the requests that are made during your use of Geosheets, and protect the integrity of your data.

Aggregated Statistics

Unicycle Labs may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to Geosheets. For instance, Unicycle Labs may monitor the most used features of Geosheets to help identify improvements to the website. However, Unicycle Labs does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Unicycle Labs will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Unicycle Labs discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Unicycle Labs believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Unicycle Labs, third parties or the public at large.
